Our proprietary technology uncovers the relevance of disparate data sets to bring out comprehensive insights into people, businesses, assets, and their interrelationships.

We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our Seattle team. You’ll use your programming, mathematics and analytics experience to write scalable, production facing code and develop creative solutions to challenging problems. Together we’ll be working in highly distributed, Linux-based environments that leverage our proprietary search and computing platform.

As a Data Scientist at red violet, you’ll: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data fusion and entity resolution algorithms sitting at the core of our risk management offerings.
  • Create novel search capabilities that leverage inverted indices, Bayesian inference and higher order clustering techniques.
  • Develop ETL systems and data pipelines to interface new data assets with our proprietary distributed data processing platform
  • Work closely with our engineers to integrate your innovations into our production systems.
  • Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed.

Our ideal Data Scientist will have:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Math, Statistics, Physics, or related field.
  • Strong background in C++ or another compiled, strongly typed, object oriented language.
  • Experience working with large data sets for data mining, analytics, modeling.
  • Experience with Bash scripting in a Linux environment.
  • BONUS POINTS: experience with geospatial analytics and the ability to beat us at table tennis or pool

Red Violet is building the next generation of highly-distributed data fusion and search technologies. Our proprietary technology uncovers the relevance of disparate data sets to bring out comprehensive insights into people, businesses, assets, and their interrelationships.

We’re looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join our Boca Raton team. Together we’ll be working in a highly distributed, Linux-based environment that leverages the best of open source technologies, cloud computing, and our proprietary distributed search and computing platform. You’ll use your testing, scripting and automation expertise to lead the team that designs, develops, executes and maintains manual and automation test suites for red violet’s web application products and services.

At Red Violet, you’ll help us:
• Create and Maintain Application Testing plans for a varied product suite (web, mobile, API, batch) and for several internally facing pipelines (data builds, search).
• Supervise a growing team of four QA engineers and analysts to provide technical leadership in addition to project management.
• Work closely with the SVP Data Science and Engineering to Plan, Track and Report on testing strategy, coverage and progress.
• Define Test Strategies and Test Plans.
• Coordinate Test Activities with the Application Development team
• Design, Collect and Distribute Quality Metrics with Development team and Stake holders

Our ideal DevOps Engineer will have:
• 5+ years of QA Experience with Strong Knowledge of both Manual and Automated QA Life Cycles.
• 2+years of experience with JavaScript or a similar modern object-oriented language.
• Strong hands on experience in any of the popular testing frameworks: Selenium, Mocha, Katalon Studio, JMeter, Jira Test Manager, Jenkins.
• Experience testing both rest API and web UI.
• Experience creating testing solutions for dynamic products due to inherent variance in underlying data.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and HTML.
• Excellent oral, written communication and collaboration skills.
• BA/BS degree in CS, Engineering, etc. or equivalent experience.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Red Violet, you will:

  • Join a mid-sized engineering team, working closely with Data Science, Management, and Product Development
  • Actively participate in the design and development of our data fusion products
  • Make significant contributions to our Web Application framework, primarily working with Node.js and Angular.js
  • Work across the entire Web stack including: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and PostgresSQL in a SOA environment

All candidates must have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of full life-cycle software development experience, from design and creation to deployment, monitoring & troubleshooting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience architecting solutions and writing code for a high-traffic, high-availability responsive website using Node.JS.
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to set technical direction and provide mentoring and guidance to other developers.
  • Capability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly and get stuff done in a fast paced agile environment.
  • Passion for quality code and quality product.

Candidates should also have full stack development experience.  Requirements are below:

We’re looking to grow the team with the addition of a Software Engineer (C++ and Parallel Programming) who can find creative solutions to tough problems. You’ll get to work with an exceptional team and build truly disruptive technologies.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be joining a small engineering team on Day 1, working on the on the design and development of a massively parallel computing platform for complex search and analytics on large data sets. In this role you will:

  • Work directly with the VP Analytics to understand the current and future problems Red Violet are solving and to design data flows and structures and create and optimize core parallel algorithms to provide the best solutions.
  • Be a key member of the staff in contributing to the design and development of our proprietary distributed computing platform in C/C++ on a Linux environment.
  • Be responsible for developing and testing performance critical components of the system and collaborate closely with team members designing software to find the best system-level solutions.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • A Computer Science or related degree (MS, PhD, or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming in a Linux environment
  • Experience with systems level development, socket programming, and low-level I/O.
  • Understanding of OS concepts and network protocols such as TCP/IP
  • Strong knowledge of OOP, data structures and algorithms
  • Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods
  • Experience with parallel programming, e.g. MPI, OpenMP, or CUDA.
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages, (e.g. Bash, Python, etc.)
